The best kosher meat board for a bris is a Jerky Munch board that fits your guest count and your menu. For 25 to 30 people, that's the 3 lb Jumbo Party board. For 15 to 20, it's the 2 lb Extra Large.
There's one thing to check before you order, and it isn't the size. We'll get to it.
The quick facts
- Every Jerky Munch board is soft beef jerky, and you pick the flavors.
- It's glatt kosher, under the hashgacha of the CRC Hisachdus.
- It's a kosher charcuterie board made only of beef, so there's no cheese on it.
- We make them in Jackson, NJ, deliver around Lakewood for $15, and ship anywhere in the US.

Stuck between two sizes? Go one up. Have more than 30 coming? Order two boards, or call us and we'll work out the size with you.
Check the menu first
A bris is usually first thing in the morning, so the seudah is often a brunch. Chabad.org's guide to a bris says the most common menu is bagels, cream cheese and lox. It also says meat is actually the halachic preference.
So ask the family which one they're doing.
- If the seudah is fleishig, the board goes right on the table, next to the deli platter or instead of it.
- If it's milchig, a meat board can't go out. Send it to the parents' house instead.
- Or bring it to the shalom zachor. That's the first Friday night after a baby boy is born, when people come by the house after the Shabbos meal.
Just sending a gift, and you're not the one hosting? The Personal board and the Heart board are 4 oz each, and they're $45.
How do you get it there in time?
A bris is on the eighth day, so you don't get much notice.
If you're near Lakewood, choose local delivery and pick the date in the cart. Book it for the day before, because the bris starts early. Orders after 3pm, or on a Friday, aren't guaranteed for the same day. If the bris falls on Shabbos or yom tov, get it delivered before.
If we're shipping it, orders placed before 2pm Eastern usually go out the same day. When it lands depends on the carrier you choose at checkout. The details are on our shipping page.
A day early is no problem. In a cool room, jerky is fine out of the fridge for 3 to 5 days. If you do put it in the fridge, take it out 3 to 4 hours before you serve it.
A few more questions
Can I choose the flavors?
Yes, on every board. Barbecue is our best seller. Add one hot flavor like Jalapeno for the people who want heat.
What's the hashgacha?
Jerky Munch is under the CRC Hisachdus, and it's glatt. There's more on our kashrus page.
The short version: count the guests, ask if the seudah is milchig or fleishig, then pick your Jerky Munch board. See all seven boards.
