A Jerky Munch variety pack lets you try our soft and delicious kosher beef jerky without betting on one flavor. Four of them hold three flavors for $45. The Mini Taster holds all ten in small bags for $75, and the 10-Flavor Sampler holds all ten full bags for $150.

Everything is made in Jackson, New Jersey, and it's glatt kosher under the hashgacha of the CRC Hisachdus.

Our ten jerky flavors, from mild to hot

Here's how the lineup sorts, using our own description of each one.

Sweet and mild: Teriyaki ("sweet and tangy"), Maple Bourbon ("made with pure maple"), Hickory Barbecue ("deep, smoky sweetness") and Asian Glaze.
Savory: Barbecue, our best seller and the classic BBQ pick, and Cracked Pepper ("moist and tender" with sharp black pepper).
Sweet with a little kick: Sweet Chili, a sticky-sweet glaze with "just enough kick".
Hot: Smoky Nashville, Jalapeno ("a ton of heat") and Fire Popper, bold flavor with real heat behind it. In our words, they're for the heat-seekers.

What a variety pack costs per ounce

We did the math on our own prices. A sampler costs the same per ounce as single bags.

A single 2 oz flavor is $15. That's $7.50 an ounce.
A three-flavor pack is $45 for 6 oz. Also $7.50 an ounce.
The full ten-flavor box is $150 for 20 oz. Still $7.50 an ounce, and it ships free.
The Mini Taster is $75 for 7.5 oz. That's $10 an ounce, the price of tasting everything in small portions.

Ingredients and allergens

Our regular jerky is not gluten free. Every label we've photographed lists wheat and soy, along with smoke flavor and spices. Only our Kosher for Passover jerky is gluten free.

Maple Bourbon is made with bourbon whiskey and maple syrup, and its label lists alcohol. Need to check something else, like MSG? Call or WhatsApp us at 732-784-7554 and we'll read you the label.

How a kosher pack is different

Some jerky variety packs mix turkey, pork, buffalo and meat sticks. Some sell an exotic jerky variety with venison or alligator, or add meat and cheese sticks.

None of that works in a kosher home. Pork is never kosher, and meat and cheese can't be eaten together. Every Jerky Munch package features beef only, it's glatt, and the meat is Alle or Solomon's shechita.

It's also soft jerky, not the dry kind. The texture is soft, so you can bite through a piece without a fight.

When a jerky sampler pack makes sense

As a gift idea for a host, a birthday, Thanksgiving or Chanukah. Our kosher Hanukkah gift baskets start with these.
For road trips, hikes and camp, where a few meat snacks go a long way. They're convenient and need no prep.

How long does a variety pack stay fresh?

The bag says to eat it within 7 days after opening. Out of the fridge, it's fine in a cool room for 3 to 5 days. To keep it longer, put it in the fridge and take it out 3 to 4 hours before you serve it. There's more in does beef jerky go bad.
