Local delivery or shipping?
With local delivery, you pick the date in the cart. If you order after 3pm, or on a Friday, same day isn't guaranteed.
With shipping, orders placed before 2pm Eastern usually go out the same day. Carriers don't promise a time of day, so don't aim for Friday afternoon.
Before Purim, Chanukah or a yom tov, order as early as you can. There's no fixed cutoff date. If the day is tight, call us first.
Is jerky the right gift for this person?
Be honest with yourself here. If they'd rather have fruit, chocolate or a mixed basket, a Monsey basket shop is the better call.
If they like meat, send jerky. Ours is soft, and it doesn't need the fridge for a few days.
